Growing Great Leaders
This is a programme for individual leaders and executives, tailored for group delivery or coached on a one-to-one basis.


Growing Great Leaders uses the MBTI® and LEA 360™ instruments. The MBTI® instrument is an excellent personality profiler which helps each manager to examine their own preferences and interactions with others. The LEA 360™ enables managers to see how others perceive their actual leadership effectiveness, and to develop a plan for leadership growth.


The MDS Growing Great Leaders programme empowers leaders and executives to:

  • Build more effective interpersonal skills
  • Resolve conflicts with individuals and create team synergy
  • Use people management skills to inspire and motivate others
  • Track team members' performance with confidence
  • Influence others more effectively
  • Create a personal development plan for their own leadership growth.

Growing Great Leaders has 4 components:
  • Introduction to the programme (half day)
  • Understanding self and others using the MBTI® instrument (1 day)
  • Understanding own leadership style using the LEA 360™ and developing a personal development plan (1 day)
  • Developing new skills by workshop training (1 day).

This 3.5 day programme gives each manager new skills for leadership, plus a "personal development plan". Progress is then accelerated by
  • Additional skills development workshops in a class setting
  • One-to-one coaching using external coaches
  • Coaching using internal coaches
  • Mentoring for self development using the personal development plan
